Lionel No 8 Electric Boxcab Loco Mojave Standard Gauge X6614

Description

Enameled metal boxcab electric on 10.75” frame is original Mojave with mostly brass trim, diecast headlights, hand-reverse. Loco made late 1920’s is uncommon in Mojave, has mostly original trim, some replacement journal/springs on frame. It has new wiring and replacement wheels on Super Motor. The new wheels look fine but some are slipping on axles, need some remount/adjustments. Motor ran and hand-reversed when bench tested, lights worked. Wheels need to be remounted for loco to run right, otherwise fine as is, for shelf display. Sold as is, no operation warranty. Original finish has only light wear, mainly edges, some dirt, mostly top surfaces, needs cleaning. There is a drip of something in a bland color at one corner, either paint or melted wire insulation. I did not try to clean it off. Hard to find in this color, Mojave.
