Quality un-marked 71/2" f/4.7 focusing brass lens. Number 35 engraved on the barrel. (4) four elements: (2) two glued front and (2) two air spaced on the back. Could be use as Camera Lens.All original parts. Original wooden Box.

    The J. Lizars company was founded in 1830 by the optician John Lizars (1810-1879) in Glasgow, Scotland. Early-type image projector consisting of a large polished mahogany box with brass fittings and blued iron chimney. Doors on the side of the projector allow for access to filters and doors at the rear allow for attending to the light source. The projector is attached to a low wooden pedestal and is accompanied by a selection of lenses.

    Wooden box is in USER condition and NOT perfect. Wood has some cracks. Has original paper label on it.
